Our "Why"

Not only are we able to have more progressive conversations around inclusivity, diversity and greater access to equity for all populations, but we also drive impactful funding and advocacy.

In 2023, 11% of our total gross revenue helped support not-for- profit organizations that help cushion the effects of poverty and open up opportunities for others.

Here's how.

Sports and Health

See Ya Next Tuesday Aussie C-olsch was released in Jan 2021 and has supported free sporting access with the Calgary Kangaroos Football Club AusKick program. It has helped subsidize free 4-week sporting opportunities in Calgary schools with higher numbers of at-risk populations and poverty-line demographics. Watch the Kangas on Global News Jan 15 2024 here . We have also sponsored the https://www.calgarykookaburras.ca/ for the last two years, and in 2025 we have switched our proceeds from See Ya to the Kookas to support our ongoing efforts of diversity and equity access in sport.

Mates For Life Coffee British Golden Ale connected a few thousand more people to mental health resources with Buddy Up Campaign , a program by men and for men to help reduce the 3:1 suicide rate, and also donated back to the Olds College Student Health & Wellness Centre in honour of Sam Day (Brewmasters Alumni 2022) for greater access to mental health services for students in rural areas.

Kindness

Queen Bee Honey Blond raised awareness for Gems For Gems Canada in 2023, and raised awareness for women needing retraining and re-employment opportunities while recovering from domestic violence. This helps break financial co-dependency and keeps people most vulnerable from going back to harmful situations. In 2024, XhAle has partnered with Stolen Harvest, a women-founded, lead, and operated meadery based in Grovedale, Alberta.

Tripawd Penelope NEIPA in its second year helped raise more awareness for Parachutes for Pets, and also helped contribute enough money to supply pet food for a family in need for up to 6 months.

Don't Avoid The Void Raspberry Amber NEIPA supported Pause4Change Animal Rescue & Adoption by helping connect people to their small, but mighty organization, and while this is a new addition to our line-up we have been able to donate enough money back to help buy pet food for a month for a rescues taken in by their volunteer fosters.

Harm and Poverty Reduction

We closely work with and actively volunteer on the board of Each+Every: Businesses for harm reduction. 100% of proceeds from our 2023 and 2024 Balls, Boobs and Beer Calendar were donated to the vital advocacy and policy work being done. Through our annual Balls, Boobs and Beer Calendar, partnered with Livefreephotography.ca, we have released 1000+ copies and raised just over $5000 for community health and awareness since 2020. XhAle supports the ongoing work they are doing to create more awareness and policy change to bring greater efforts toward reconciliation, and public health policy around harm and poverty reduction.

XhAle also supports and works with Street Cats YYC who support our most vulnerable our our houseless and PWUD (People Who Use Drugs) community with street outreach and advocacy work. 100% of the proceed from our 2025 Balls, Boobs and Beer Calendar are donated to Street Cats YYC, and we run their donation program. You can find a Street Cats YYC donation bins at XhAle partners:
