Calgary Award Winner for the Social Impact - Business, Community 2026!

It was an honour to be awarded the 2026 Calgary Award for the Social Impact - Business Community Award.

A big thank you to Euan Thompson for nominating us, and to the jury of selectors who unanimously voted for the submission (which is redacted for impartial judging). Watch the vignette they shot about our business on Youtube, featuring a cute guest appearance!

It is a privilege to be able to move through the spaces we do, and we would like to acknowledge that privilege. We would also like to honour all social ventures in our amazing city who do incredible work to lift our communities up. It takes many hearts and hands to do this work in capitalist spaces.

It has been 6 yrs since XhAle was incorporated, and we would like to say thank you to all who have supported us in our journey, and community engagement and advocacy work.

While we have had impact to date, there is still so much work to be done. And in saying that, we have some exciting work being done in the background we can't wait to share with you all soon!

This photo has amazing folks that have been the foundation of our past, contribute in giant ways to our present, and are also integral to our future. The dedication, love, and service of our crew is real and more alive than ever!
